About the Resony app

Background to the app

Poor mental health is the single largest cause of ill-health in the UK, with approximately 1 in 4 people experiencing symptoms of a mental health problem each year.  It costs an estimated £105 billion/year to the economy, the NHS, and society as a whole.

Despite the enormity of the problem, many people needing support wait for a long period. The situation is worse for people who have limited access to technology and resources to seek support. 

In response to the major issue highlighted above, the Resony app was conceived and born. We are a team of London-based health professionals and entrepreneurs serving Londoners for the past decade, and have seen first-hand how challenging it can be for people to seek help.

So, we built Resony with the mission to provide affordable & effective solutions to promote good mental health & well-being.

Why we created the Resony app

We conceived and developed the Resony app as part of a digital therapeutics platform for mental health care that provides easy access to evidence-based digital programs for anxiety, stress, and sleep.

We wanted to create a safe & effective non-drug alternative that can be deployed at scale to reach anyone, anywhere – who is in need of help and assistance in relation to their mental health.

When developing the app, it was extremely important to us that we focused on utilising an evidence-based approach, and we wanted to create something that addressed the mental state of users through physiology to give faster and higher recovery rates.

With this basic concept and vision in mind, the Resony app was born.
